Polish Platform of Medical Research

The modern PPM MUG database published on the website of the MUG Main Library was created as part of the multi-center project Polish Platform of Medical Research: A knowledge and research potential platform (PPM), financed by the European Union, implemented since November 2017. The MUG’s partners are medical universities from: Białystok, Katowice, Lublin, Szczecin, Warsaw, Wrocław (The Leader) and the Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź. Placing all local platforms of our partners on the Internet, completes an important stage of the Project. In December this year we will share the central PPM platform integrating data from dispersed installations of individual units.

PPM MUG is a tool of the Current Research Information System (CRIS) type that gathers, presents and promotes the profiles and achievements of employees, doctoral students and students of the MUG, as well as combining in one place interrelated information on various aspects of scientific research conducted at the University, such as research teams, projects, patents, research equipment. No login required. Currently, it contains data on the publication output created at our University since 2013. The information will be updated on an ongoing basis via API from the MUG’s Bibliography database and supplemented with material from previous years.

An integral part of PPM MUG is the MUG Repository enabling archiving and sharing in an open model of full texts, including: articles, monographs, chapters, doctoral dissertations and other documents or raw research data, in accordance with the AO licenses on which they were published. More than 4,000 full-text objects have already been deposited at the MUG Repository.
