The Medical University of Gdańsk has established cooperation with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The letter of intent in this matter was signed by Prof. Marcin Gruchała, rector of the MUG, Prof. Andrzej Basiński, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences with Institute of Maritime and Tropical Medicine of the MUG, Prof. Scott Gronert, dean of the UWM’s College of Letters & Science and Prof. Stan Stojkovic, dean of the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare. Joint research and educational ventures, along with the exchange of lecturers to conduct research, lectures and symposia will be undertaken within the framework of cooperation.
Students will have an opportunity to continue their education or conduct research abroad. Online classes are also envisaged as part of the cooperation scheme.
