Lecture Day

Nucleotides and adenosine: new biomarkers, disease mechanisms, new drugs is the title of the lecture that will be given by Prof. Ryszard Tomasz Smoleński, laureate of this year’s Sopot Muse Award of the President of Sopot in the field of science. Professor Smoleński is an outstanding specialist in the field of medical sciences, he conducts research on the mechanisms of heart diseases and new drugs which could be used in cardiology and cardiac surgery.

The ceremony will take place on December 17 this year. at. 12.00 in the Auditorium Primum (Atheneum Gedanense Novum building).

During this special event the Rector’s awards for scientific, didactic and organizational achievements in 2018 will be presented.
