Inauguration of the academic year 2019/2020 at the MUG

Over 1,500 students, including over 200 foreigners from various parts of the world – Sweden, Norway, Germany, India, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Sudan, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania and Great Britain began their studies at the Medical University of Gdańsk. The ceremonial inauguration of the 2019/2020 academic year took place on October 8th 2019 in Auditorium Primum, Atheneum Gedanense Novum building.

The inaugural lecture entitled Evidence-biased medicine: the traps of modern medicine was given by Prof. Barbara Jereczek-Fossa, a graduate of our University, the head the largest Radiotherapy Clinic in Italy, at the University of Milan.
