Meeting at the Polish embassy in Stockholm

On the 13th of September 2019 in the Polish Embassy in Stockholm the Rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk, Prof. Marcin Gruchała met with the MUG’s alumni working in Sweden and current students. The meeting was held under the ‘Hand in Hand into the Future’ project, a part of the ‘Internatonal Alumni’ programme intiated by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

The MUG delgation also included Prof. Michał Żmijewski, Vice Dean of the English Division, Sławomir Wójcik, Ph.D., D.Sc., Head of the Recruitment Department and Jacek Kaczmarek, Ph.D. International Alumni Relations Officer.

The meeting at the Polish embassy in Stockholm and the informal meetings with graduates in both Stockholm and Gothenburg were aimed at presenting the university’s will to develop strong relations with our foreign graduates and its future plans in that respect, to discuss their careers after graduating from the MUG and finally, encouraging them to cooperate in activities aimed at improving education and satisfaction of current and future students from studying at MUG.
