The MUG’s doctoral student with an award at the international pharmaceutical congress in Kigali

Katarzyna Kimel, a Ph.D. student at the Department of Pharmacognosy with the Garden of Medicinal Plants showcased a research poster entitled “HPLC-DAD-ESI / MS Comparison of the Chemical Composition of Arnica TM and Two Arnica Species Flowers” during “65th IPSF World Congress”. The poster co-authored by Katarzyna Kimel, Sylwia Godlewska and Mirosława Krauze-Baranowska gained 2nd place in the session of scientific presentations.

The congress took place from July 30th to August 8th in the capital of Rwanda, Kigali. It is the most important event organized annually by the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation founded in 1949, bringing together over 350,000 pharmacy students and graduates from 90 countries around the world.
