Rector’s distinction for the MUG student

On August 1st 2019, Magdalena Antoszewska, a fifth year student of the medical faculty, received a special distinction from the hands of the MUG’s rector, Prof. Marcin Gruchała for her outstanding commitment and student activity. The meeting was also attended by Tomasz Smiatacz, M.D., Ph.D., D.Sc., vice-rector for student affairs.

Through the course of her studies Magdalena Antoszewska has been continuously involved in the organization of the “Marrow Hero” campaign aimed at propagating knowledge about transplantology and bone marrow donation among students of our University.

Nicole Geryk, the President of the Gdańsk Branch of IFMSA-Poland, submitted the application for granting the Rector’s distinction to Magdalena Antoszewska
