The Medical University of Gdańsk strengthens its cooperation with Santander Bank Polska

The cooperation agreement drawed within the framework of the Santader Universidades programme was signed on June 4th 2019 at the Medical University of Gdańsk. The university was represented by the rector prof. Marcin Gruchała and the chancellor Marek Langowski, whereas the bank had Wojciech Leśniewski, the CEO of Santander Universidades in Poland to act as its representative.

- We are grateful to Santander Bank Polska for noticing the potential of our university and readiness to support the projects that simply could not be implemented without its help. – emphasized the rector of the MUG, prof. Marcin Gruchała.

- We are more than happy about strengthening our cooperation with such a renowned university as the Medical University of Gdańsk. Thanks to the concluded agreement, students, academic employees and student organizations will be able to use the support we offer – said the director of Santander Universidades in Poland, Wojciech Leśniewski.

Santander Universidades is one of the key social initiatives of the Santander Group which has been carrying out projects supporting higher education for over 20 years. The programme currently supports students from almost 1000 universities around the world, including over 50 Polish universities.
