Agnieszka Kamedulska, a Ph.D. student at the Department of Biopharmacy and Pharmacokinetics of the Pharmaceutical Faculty with the Laboratory Medicine Division was awarded during the „48th International Symposium on High-Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques”.

The sumposium was held in Milan from June 16th to 20th. It is the most important international conference on high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and related techniques.

Featured work entitled “Statistical analysis of isocratic chromatographic data using Bayesian hierarchical modeling” is an example of the use of mathematical modeling based on Bayesian statistics to obtain optimal separation conditions in RP-HPLC systems. The poster’s authors are: A. Kamedulska, Ł. Kubik, and P. Wiczling. The participation in the symposium was realized as a part of the SONATA-BIS grant (04-0169 / 09/529).
