The scientists from Minsk at the MUG

Dr Iosif Tsybourski, Dziyana Niadzvetskaya and dr Sviatlana Kotava from Scientific and Practical Centre of the State Committee for Forensic Examination of the Republic of Belarus visited the Medical University of Gdańsk on June 10th. The visit took place at the invitation of the Department of Forensic Medicine at the MUG. Its organizer on behalf of the department was Krzysztof Rębała, DSc who also took care of the guests. The topic of talks concerned the exchange of experiences in the field of DNA research in forensic medicine and scientific cooperation.

The guests were also taken round the MUG campus. Then, after a series of seminars and meetings, scientists from Minsk had the opportunity to visit the MUG Simulation Centre and the forensic laboratory of the Gdańsk Police.

Office for Strategy and International Relations at the MUG was the co-organizer of the visit.
