Guests from Rostock in the MUG

Professor Wolfgang Schareck, rector of Rostock University, prof. Emil C. Reisinger, dean and head of science at Rostock University Medical Centre, prof. Niels Grabow and Wiebke Schlensog from Rostock University Medical Center and prof. Klaus-Peter Schmitz, director of the Institute for Implant Technology and Biomaterials, Warnemünde visited the Medical University of Gdańsk on June 4th. They met with prof. Marcin Gruchała, rector of the MUD and then, in the company of Tomasz Stefaniak, director of health care at UCK, prof. Tomasz Bączek, vice-rector for science and prof. Edyta Szurowska, vice-rector for clinical issues, visited the University Clinical Centre, the MUD hospital.

Furthermore, the Rostock delegation took part in a meeting on scientific cooperation between universities. The following members of the MUD faculty participated in it: dean of the Faculty of Medicine prof. Maria Dudziak, dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy prof. Michał Markuszewski, dr Jacek Wolf from the Centre for Translational Medicine, dr Blanka Seklecka from the Early Medical Research Centre, dr Iwona Pelikant-Małecka from BioBank, prof. Arkadiusz Piotrowski from the International Research Agenda, dr Katarzyna Waligóra-Borek from the Centre for Technology Transfer and dr Krzysztof Chlebus, Rector’s proxy for innovation and knowledge transfer.
