MUG students awarded in Poznań

Students who represented the Department of Surgery and Urology for Children and Adolescents – Ewelina Wojciechowska (5th year, medical faculty), Paula Szenejko (4th year, medical faculty), Natalia Mazur (4th year, medical faculty) – and Paulina Witkowska (6th year, medical faculty) who was a representative of the Department of Plastic Surgery participated in the 8th National Scientific Conference “Pediatric Surgery”. The event took place on May 11 and was organised by the Poznan University of Medical Science. MUG’s students took part in the Case Report competition session.

The work of Ewelina Wojciechowska – “Ovarian tumor with a small intestine tumor – case report” – took the first place, and the presentation by Paula Szenejko – “Sclerotherapy of mesenteric lymphatic sclerotherapy” – was ranked third. Whatsmore, work of Natalia Mazur and Paulina Witkowska was also awarded.

In addition to the competition part, representatives of the MUG had the opportunity to improve their practical skills in the field of surgery and attend lectures conducted by children’s surgeons in Poznań.
