The English Language Competition in Medical Sciences

The Department of Foreign Languages of the MUG conducted final of the English Language Competition in Medical Sciences. Event took place on May 11. From among 300 participants from medical universities from all over Poland, 10 finalists were selected who had to give a short presentation on a topic of their choice and answer some additional questions. The first place was taken ex aequo by Tomasz Kozłowski – “Medical simulation” (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań) and Klaudia Kałuzińska “Organs on chips – an alternative to animal testing” (Jagiellonian University). The third place went to Damian Wyczyński “Psychopaths and their role in society” (MUG). Competition was organised under the honorary patronage of MUG’s Rector prof. Marcin Gruchała, M.D., Ph.D.
