The success of MUG’s students at the conference in Warsaw

Dominika Dułak and Karolina Haško (faculty of medicine, 6th year students) took 1st place in the hematology and oncology session of the International Student Conference in Warsaw. Work “Assessment of the effect of low-level laser therapy on oral mucositis in patients undergoing HSCT – open prospective, randomized study” has gained recognition of the jury for its novelty. Jury also appreciated a great presentation skills and excellent preparation for discussion. Work was created under the guidance of Anna Irga-Staniukiewicz, M.D., from Department of Haematology & Transplantology. Tutor of the scientific circle in which awarded students are working is Ewa Zarzycka, M.D., from the Department of Haematology & Transplantology.
