Over 150 abstracts, 300 participants from 9 countries and 50 awarded young scientists. On April 12-13, the 25th edition of the International Student Scientific Conference took place. The event was placed in the MUG’s Invasive Medicine Centre and Non-Invasive Medicine Centre and was organised by the MUG’s Student Scientific Society. Main goal of the event was to create a space for young scientists to share their work and present findings in front of an international audience and learn from world-renowned professionals. Conference consisted of several panels covering fields such as internal medicine, pharmacology, modern medical techniques and sports medicine. Participants had the opportunity to present the results of their scientific activities in clinical case sessions.

As part of the conference, lectures of many outstanding specialists took place – prof. Stefan Marciniak from the University of Cambridge, prof. Jacek Jassem, head of the Department of Oncology & Radiotherapy, prof. Jarosław Sławek, head of the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Nursing, dr Jaroslaw Meyer-Szary from the Department of Paediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Defects and Joanna Krawczyk from Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny. There were also workshops conducted by doctors and students.
