The article entitled “Peripheral blood lymphocyte subpopulations in patients with bipolar disorder type II” by dr Krzysztof Pietruczuk, M.D., Ph.D., dr hab. Katarzyna Lisowska, M.D., Ph.D., and prof. Jacek M. Witkowski, M.D., Ph.D., from the Department of Physiopathology and dr Karol Grabowski, M.D., Ph.D., prof. Jerzy Landowski, M.D., Ph.D., and prof. Wiesław J. Cubała, M.D., Ph.D. from the Department of Adult Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry was published in the prestigious „Scientific Reports” journal. Journal is a part of the Nature Publishing Group. Publication shows that there are differences in the subpopulations of T and B lymphocytes, which may depend on the current phase of bipolar disorder.
