"Implementation of anatomy in modern technologies" – new activity for students

Members of the Student’s Scientific Circle at the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology MUG in cooperation with the Student’s Scientific Circle “Materials in Medicine” from Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT) have started a new series of meetings called “Implementation of anatomy in modern technologies.” First meeting, which took place on April 16, was attended by 22 students from both universities.

During the lecture, which was conducted by the supervisor of Student’s Scientific Circle at the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology Jan Spodnik, M.D., Ph.D., students got acquainted with the mechanics of the osteoarticular system. Workshops on the skeletal system were conducted by the MUG students who used the materials of the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology. Event was a great opportunity to broaden the anatomical knowledge of the GUT students. They’re convinced that this knowledge will help them in the future to build better medical instruments, prostheses and orthoses.

The next meeting is scheduled for May.
