MUG students visited National Institute of Public Health

First-year public health students from the MUG together with Łukasz Balwicki, M.D, Ph.D., from the Department of Public Health and Social Medicine took part in the “Vaccinations is our health and safety. Safety of vaccines – testing, control and supervision.” conference. The event took place on April 16 and was a part of the European Immunization Week. The conference was organised by the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH). Students from Gdańsk and Poznań also had the opportunity to meet the director of NIPH Grzegorz Juszczyk and the director Joanna Głażewska from the Department of Public Health in the Ministry of Health. The meeting concerned the main tasks of the Ministry, NIPH as well as careers opportunities for public health graduates.
