MUG students nominated for the "Red Rose award"

The university elimination of the “Red Rose award” took place on 5th April.

The MUG Committee for the Red Rose Award, led by dr hab. Tomasz Smiatacz, M.D., Ph.D., vice-rector for Students’ Affairs. announced the candidates for the final stage.

Paweł Walisiewicz (6th year student, Faculty of Medicine) was the winner in „the best student” category and “the best scientific circle” award went to the Student Scientific Circle at the Department of Prevention and Didactics.

The public presentation of the finalists will take place on May 27, and the final of the competition on June 2 at Gdynia Maritime University.

Red Rose award (nagroda Czerwonej Róży) contest is organised by the Red Rose Society (Stowarzyszenie Czerwonej Róży) for over 50 years. The award itself is a statuete that symbolizes beauty, perfection and rich traditions of the scientific community in the Pomorskie region. The award highlights the work of the most.
