During this year’s winter holidays, employees and students of the MUG actively supported the English Winter Camp – a charitable educational programme of local branch of Project Management Institute the aim of which is to support the development of children raised in orphanages, foster families and in families with low material status. Practical classes were combined with learning English. Part of the classes – workshops and chemical demonstrations – took place at the Faculty of Pharmacy with Subfaculty of Laboratory Medicine. The project manager in this year’s edition was Damian Szczesny, Ph.D., from the Tri-City Academic Laboratory Animal Center – Research and Services Center. The project team also included a student of public health faculty Natalia Chrzczonowska and Dariusz Kosikowski from the MUG’s Department of Analytical Chemistry.
The English Winter Camp 2019 was under the honorary patronage of the MUG’s rector, prof. Marcin Gruchała.
