Dr Maria Długołęcka-Graham, Ph.D., from The University of Edinburgh and coordinator of the Polish School of Medicine Memorial Fund visited MUG on 22-24 January.

The visit began from official meeting with Vice-Rector for Science prof. Tomasz Bączek, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs prof. Edyta Szurowska, M.D., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine prof. Maria Dudziak, M.D., Ph.D., Medical Logistics Director at University Clinical Centre, Adam Sudoł, M.D., former MUG’s rector prof. Wiesław Makarewicz, one of the scholarship holder dr Michał Bohdan, M.D., Ph.D., dr Tadeusz Jędrzejczyk, M.D., Ph.D., dr Michał Brzeziński, M.D., Ph.D., and employees of the Department of Internationalization of the MUG. During the visit, further willingness to cooperate in scholarship programs was confirmed.

The Polish School of Medicine Memorial Fund provide financial support to young scientists from our country. The previous scholarship holders of the Programme from our University included: dr Michał Bohdan, prof. Piotr Czauderna, dr Beata Imko-Walczuk, dr hab. Michał Kaliszan, dr Jerzy Dziewiątkowski, dr hab. Przemysław Kowiański and dr Aleksandra Konarzewska.
