English Division student won the Interstudent contest

Charles Woode (Republic of Ghana), III year student at the Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG) Nursing English Division, won the prestigious INTERSTUDENT contest in the undergraduate studies category. Besides Charles, other winners were: Okta Chandra Aulia (Indonesia) The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (category – master’s studies) and Svitlana Sovinska (Ukraine) The Cracow University of Technology (category – doctoral studies). The contest winners were announced and recognized at the Interstudent Gala in Warsaw during the conference „Foreign students in Poland 2019” on the 17th of January. According to the jury all winners showed above-average activity and social sensitivity. These students organized charity events, actively participated in research, created films, organized festivals, helped their friends feel more at home in Poland. During the conference MUG was represented by the Dean of Faculty of Medicine prof. Maria Dudziak, head of the University Admissions Office dr hab. Sławomir Wójcik, M.D., Ph.D. and head of the Department of Internationalization Ewa Kiszka, M.A. The coordinator of nursing English Division is Marcelina Skrzypek-Czerko Ph.D and the tutor of the third year is Przemysław Domagała from the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Nursing.
