Movember in Riviera Shopping Centre

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health addressing to the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. In 15 years Movember funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world. On this occasion, MUG’s students from The International Federation of Medical Student Associations IFMSA-Poland Gdańsk Branch visited Riviera Shopping Centre in Gdynia on November 24. Volunteers conducted training on testicular self-testing, blood glucose testing and blood pressure measurement. A few days before the action students had the opportunity to take part in a lecture about male genital cancer, which was carried out by doctors from the Department of Urology. The event was held with the support of the “Courageous Win” campaign and the “Gdyński Most Nadziei” foundation. The next action related to Movember will take place on December 2 in the Batory Shopping Centre in Gdynia.
