Opening of the Rare Diseases Centre

Suffering rare diseases patients can count on comprehensive care in the newly created Rare Diseases Centre placed in the University Clinical Centre.

The unit will take care of diagnostics, clinical trials, psychological consultations, rehabilitation, and also will introduce therapy based on telemedicine.

Official opening of the Rare Diseases Centre took place on 30 September during the conference “Rare diseases – where are we going?”

The conference artistic background was an exhibition inspired by the story of Hero Borys entitled “Understanding the Hero”, curated by Piotr Białas (TataStudio).

Artistics work captured the uniqueness of the small Great Heroes, live among us and are often patients UCC.
