New ultrasound for MUG

The MUG’s Department of Physics and Biophysics received modern Mindray Z5 ultrasound.

The ceremony, which took place on October 24, was attended by: MUG Vice-Rector for Development and Education prof. Jacek Bigda, M.D., Ph.D., Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine prof. Bartłomiej Ciesielski, M.D., Ph.D., prof. Wojciech Kosiak, M.D., Ph.D., who organized the transfer of the equipment for the Department, representatives of the MAR–MED company Agnieszka Stepień and Adam Turno, Mindray ultrasound manager Marta Piwowarska, head of the Department dr hab. Piotr Boguś, M.D., Ph.D., Eng. and invited guests.

The equipment was borrowed free of charge for a long time by the Chinese company Mindray Medical Poland through the Polish distributor MAR-MED. The ultrasonograph is intended for didactics for MUG first year students Faculty of Medicine and other and will be used during exercises.
