Orientation week at the MUG

24.09.2018

Nearly 300 students from all over the world take part in the MUG’s Orientation week (September 24-28). The Orientation week is a series of lectures and meetings which aims to facilitate new students at the University and in Gdansk. Among the group are students who started their studies in the field of medicine, pharmacy and nursing, as well as participants of international exchanges, e.g. Erasmus + programme.

The new students came to Gdansk from all over the world – Sweden, Norway, India, Rwanda, Zimbabwe and Iran. They meet students from years above, get to know organisations working in the University and get useful information about visas, address registration, health insurance required in our country etc.

On Thursday, September 27, they all will meet again during an integration event in the ERGO Arena, in Gdańsk. This event is a part of “Study in Pomerania” project (Polish: Study in Pomorskie) and 1000 new students from 13 Pomeranian universities will have fun together.

Prior the event, Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, presidents of three cities, rectors of the universities, as well as diplomatic corps will meet with students.
