Plastic bottle caps for the Hospice Foundation

The MUG joined the action of collecting plastic caps for the Hospice Foundation. It is dedicated to children from the Father Eugeniusz Dutkiewicz SAC Hospice, as well as the Orphaned Children Fund. One plastic cap means nothing, but the scale effect counts. A ton of plastic caps costs 800 PLN. Such amount is enough for a scholarship for one of the Foundation’s children or to renovate an apartment of a sick boy. A basket for plastic caps is located in the rector’s building at 3a, M. Skłodowskiej-Curie street, on the ground floor, opposite the room no 3. The collected plastic cups are sold to recycling companies and processed there into granules from which, for example, plastic buckets or tools are produced.
