The MUG’s scientists in scientific committee of ESPEN 2019

Monika Ziętarska M.A., Marta Gruchała-Niedoszytko M.D. Ph.D. from the Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Agata Janczy from the Department of Nutritional Biochemistry and Monika Rafałowska, Ph.D. student at the 1st Department of Cardiology presented results of their research in a poster session during the 40th Congress of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) in Madrid.

The next ESPEN congress will be held for the first time in Poland, specifically in Krakow on 31.08-31.09.2019. Three scientists from the Medical University of Gdańsk have been elected as members of the scientific committee of this event. The chairperson of the committee is prof. Sylwia Małgorzewicz M.D. Ph.D. head of the Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. Marta Gruchała-Niedoszytko from the Department of Clinical Nutrition and prof. Michał Chmielewski M.D. Ph.D. from the Department of Nephrology, Transplantology and Internal Diseases.

The Polish Society for Parenteral, Enteral Nutrition and Metabolism (POLSPEN) and the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) invite to Krakow doctors, dieticians, pharmacists, nurses and all interested in clinical nutrition for five parallel scientific and educational sessions focusing on topics such as acute and chronic diseases, pediatrics and nutrition of the elderly.
