Zuzanna Lewicka-Potocka, M.D. Ph.D. student at the Department of Cardiology and Electrotherapy and Aleksandra Liżewska-Springer, resident at the UCC’s Cardiology Centre, presented results of their research projects at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) congress, which took place in Munich, Germany. Zuzanna Lewicka-Potocka M.D. presented a poster “Right ventricular dysfunction occurs in amateur male marathon runners: a three-dimensional echocardiography examination study” and Aleksandra Liżewska-Springer presented a poster “Echocardiographic effects of radiofrequency pulmonary veins isolation in paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and preserved left ventricular systolic function”. Their work supervised Alicja Dąbrowska-Kugacka M.D. Ph.D. from the MUG’s Department of Cardiology and Electrotherapy.
