Scholarship for the MUG’s scientist

Maciej Piskunowicz M.D. Ph.D., assistant professor at the Department of Radiology MUG was awarded by the Kosciuszko Foundation. The scientist obtained funding for a research work at the Department of Radiology of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The Department of Radiology is one of the largest in the United States and employs approximately 350 employees. Over a quarter of a million studies are done there each year. The Department’s equipment includes: 3 CT scanners (including PET CT), 4 SPECT CT scanners, 12 MR scanners (including PET MR), 23 fluoroscopes, 39 radiographic systems, 36 ultrasound devices and 3 treatment radiology surgeries.
