The MUG’s Faculty of Dentistry celebrated its 70th anniversary. The celebration was accompanied by numerous lectures of scientists related to history of dentistry in Poland and in Gdańsk, as well as scientific issues such as developmental defects, the role of calcium and phosphate and modern methods of digital planning and comprehensive dental treatment. A delegation of lecturers from the European Institute of Oncology in Milan presented modern treatment options for oncological patients. A poster session and the MUG’s Museum exhibition was also popular. However, the most interesting was happening behind the scenes, where lecturers, academic teachers, graduates and students could talk, exchange insights and recall memories. The University is a heart of dentistry in Pomerania.
