Successes of the MUG’s bromatology on the nationwide forum

The scientific and didactic team of the MUG’s Department of Bromatology presented their achievements at the meeting organised by prof. Jan Pachecka from the Committee for Therapy and Drug Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.

The first speaker, prof. Piotr Szefer, head of the MUG’s Department of Bromatology presented a lecture “The role of bromatology in innovative pharmacy” which included achievements of the department since September 1st, 2000, when he took over the management of the Department. The lecture was a part of four lectures “Innovative drugs, innovative therapies”. The other three were dedicated to the research results of the other scientists from the Department of Bromatology. Prof. Anna Lebiedzińska delivered a lecture “Vitamins, and the health of modern human”, Małgorzata Grembecka Ph.D. presented a lecture “Natural and synthetic sweeteners in pharmacy”, and Alicja Kotłowska Ph.D. “The use of metabolomics in pharmaceutical sciences”.
