Science for Health – Open Day MUG is behind us

A crowd of young people appeared on April 20th at the MUG’s Science for Health – Open Day event. A lot of attractions awaited participants at the MUG’s Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy with Subfaculty of Laboratory Medicine. Visitors came from Tricity and surrounding areas, as well as other regions of Poland. The event was addressed to prospective candidates, children, young people, and seniors. Prospective candidates had an opportunity to visit the MUG’s units behind the scenes, take part in small workshops, as well as listen to various lectures delivered by employees, scientists and students of the MUG. Members of Students’ Scientific Circles presented their activities and carried out preventive examinations (blood pressure measurement, measurement of cholesterol and blood sugar, ultrasound etc). The event was a continuation of three events: the Medical Day of Science – the largest event in the Pomerania region promoting medical science, the Picnic for Health – a prophylactic event addressed to the Tricity residents, as well as the Open Day, which is very popular among future students.
