Representatives of the Medical University of Gdańsk and Philips Healthcare discussed at the working meeting future of the Translational Medicine Centre and innovative research projects carried out at the University, as well as activities of the University Clinical Centre, Invasive Medicine Centre and Non-Invasive Medicine Centre. In the Polish-Dutch delegation from the Philips Healthcare company were Jouke Smink, Piotr Winiarczyk and Tomasz Pilewicz. The MUG was represented by its rector, prof. Marcin Gruchała, vice-rector for clinical matters prof. Edyta Szurowska, chancellor Marek Langowski, prof. Krzysztof Narkiewicz (head of the Department of Hypertension and Diabetology), prof. Renata Zaucha (head of Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy), Karolina Dorniak (Department of Heart Disease Diagnosis), Michał Bohdan M.D. Ph.D. and Krzysztof Chlebus M.D. Ph.D. (1st Department of Cardiology), prof. Bartosz Karaszewski (Head of Department of Adult Neurology), as well as Joanna Pieńkowska M.D. Ph.D. and Agnieszka Sabisz Eng.D. from the 2nd Department of Radiology.
