In connection with act 2.0 prepared by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk, prof. Marcin Gruchała, appointed the team for the creation of the MUG’s doctoral school. The group was formed on April 4 this year and includes: Michał Pikuła M.D. Ph.D. (Department of Clinical Immunology and Transplantology), prof. Wiesław Sawicki (head of the Department of Physical Chemistry), Danuta Siluk M.D. Ph.D. (Department of Pharmacodynamics), associate professor Joanna Stańczak M.D. Ph.D., (head of the Department of Tropical Medicine and Parasitology), Adam Szarszewski M.D. Ph.D. (head of the Department of History and Philosophy of Medical Sciences) and prof. Jacek Witkowski (head of the Department of Physiopathology). The aim of the reform is to replace doctoral studies with doctoral schools.
