Success of the MUG’s students from the futsal team

The first Women’s Futsal Tournament of Polish Medical Universities in Łódź turned to be very successful for our players. The MUG’s team took the third place. It is worth mentioning that the best goalkeeper of the tournament was a student of our University, Klaudia Lemczak (student of the 1st year of physiotherapy). The fact of winning a podium place in the nationwide tournament is all the more important as the women’s football team has only been in the MUG for a year.

The bronze medalists are: Aleksandra Staśkiewicz (trainee and team’s captain), Klaudia Lemczak (1st year student, physiotherapy), Hanna Olofsson (2nd year student, medical faculty, English division), Beatrice Von Dardel (3rd year student, medical faculty, English division), Diana Okrój (1 year student, emergency medicine), Zuzanna Witkowska (4th year student, medical faculty), Paulina Budzisz (2nd year student, medical faculty), Julia Surmacz (1st year student, medical faculty), Karolina Lalik (trainee) and Zelie Branjonneau (student of the 1st year, emergency medicine). Currently 21 girls are in the team.
