The MUG's researchers on the List of 100

The MUG’s researchers on the List of 100 Results of the 15th edition of the List of 100 (Polish: Lista Stu) of the most influential people in Polish medicine, as well as the 4th edition of the List of 100 of the most influential people in the Polish healthcare system have been published. On the list prepared by the Puls Medycyny magazine, eight MUG’s scientists appeared.

Prof. Jacek Jassem, head of the MUG’s Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy was ranked 10th of the List of 100 in the category Medicine. The 16th place belongs to prof. Krzysztof Narkiewicz, head of the Department of Hypertension and Diabetology. Prof. Marcin Gruchała, head of the 1st Department of Cardiology and the MUG’s rector took 33th place, prof. Janusz Limon, a geneticist, took 40th place and Rafał Dziadziuszko M.D. Ph.D., from the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy and head of the Department of Teleradiotherapy took 57 place. Prof. Małgorzata Myśliwiec, head of the Department of Paediatrics, Diabetology and Endocrinology was ranked 75th.

In the category of the healthcare system two MUG’s scientists: prof. Piotr Czauderna, head of the Department of Surgery and Urology for Children and Adolescents and prof. Tomasz Zdrojewski, head of Department of Preventive Medicine and Education were ranked on 22nd and 31st place, respectively.
