Members of the Polish Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (Polskie Towarzystwo Studentów Farmacji – PTSF) take an active part in the Twinnet project together with students of the University of Lisbon. In September 2017, as part of the exchange, they visited the capital of Portugal, where they took part in many trainings and workshops. The return visit will take place on 5-9 March this year. For 15 students from Portugal who will visit the MUG, the University Student Government (Uczelniany Samorząd Studencki – USS) plans to prepare lectures and workshops and will guide the visitors through the most interesting places in Gdańsk.

The EPSA Twinnet Project is a flagship project of the European Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (EPSA) in the field of mobility. It aims to enhance the exchange among EPSA members allowing the transfer of culture, knowledge and experiences. In this mobility project, two, three or four groups of students coming from different countries make an exchange among themselves and visit each other. Twinnet is the ultimate experience that will teach a student intercultural awareness, to accept responsibility and how to plan and manage a project. As part of a student exchange lasting several days, participants have an opportunity to take advantage of an interesting educational programme and learn about pharmacy in other countries.

Coordinator of the Gdańsk-Lisbon Twinnet Project is Zuzanna Drażba, student of the 4th year at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
