International Research Agenda in the MUG

The MUG in partnership with the University of Uppsala in Sweden will receive nearly 40 million PLN for the creation of a new research centre specialising in research on genetic aberrations acquired throughout life as risk factors for cancer and other diseases. The unit will be created thanks to funds provided by the Foundation for Polish Science.

The IRA programme gives top scientists, irrespective of their nationality, the opportunity to create a research unit (innovative center of excellence) in Poland, which will conduct world-class R&D activities focused on a specific and timely scientific challenge.
