The Main Library of MUG has received funding in the amount of: PLN 4,329,656.06 for the implementation of the project Polish Medical Platform: the portal for management of knowledge and research potential, which will be carried out with seven partner libraries. The total amount of funding for the entire project is PLN 37,279,391.60.
The leader of the project is The University of Medical Sciences in Wroclaw and beside the MUG partners are the medical universities from Bialystok, Katowice, Lublin, Szczecin and Warsaw and the Institute of Occupational Medicine in Łódź. The objective of the project is to provide a common platform of the Current Research Information System (CRIS) presenting and promoting the scientific achievements and research potential of all participants. On one platform there will be presented such information as researchers profiles, their publications, obtained patents and grants, realized scientific projects.
The project is a part of the implementation of the Recommendation of European Commission on access to scientific information and its protection.
The duration of the project – 1st of November, 2017 – 31st of October, 2020.
