Łukasz Balwicki M.D. Ph.D. from the Department of Public Health and Social Medicine participated as an advisor in a meeting based on a political dialog with representatives of Central Europe countries (Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) The meeting was held in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its purpose was to exchange experiences on financing, human resources planning, as well as public health management. Mr Balwicki as an author of the analyses of public health system and an expert in the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies discussed changes that took place in Poland, together with the enactment of the Public Health Act and the National Health Programme 2016-2020, which could be an inspiration for other countries.

The meeting was held under the auspices of the World Health Organisation, the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies and the financial support of the Swiss government.
