“Good candidates can be anywhere, you just have to reach them” is the motto of the Faculty Admission Commission for medical studies in English. During the current recruitment process, Commission directed by the President – Dean of the Medical Faculty prof. Maria Dudziak M.D. Ph.D. along with her deputies prof. Michał Żmijewski M.D. Ph.D. and Sławomir Wójcik M.D. Ph.D., conducted 16 entrance examinations (12 with direct participation of members of the commission, 4 with on-line participation). Effective processes of examinations were possible, due to the great help of the MUG’s Admission Office employees Anna Kiszka and Paulina Zwolińska. This year, during the examinations for 6-years MD programme conducted in English, more than 500 candidates from 66 countries applied for 180 available places . The exams were held in Canada, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, India and Nigeria. The last exam was held at the Medical University of Gdansk on July 28th. We hope that the newly-accepted candidates will be wonderful students.
