The MUG will establish the Centre of Geriatrics. The new facility will be an integral part of the University Clinical Center (UCC). The project will enable to develop new functions of the UCC’s existing organizational units, which in turn will ensure high quality care for geriatric patients.
New procedures will be implemented by an interdisciplinary team of such specialists as general practitioners, geriatricians, pulmonologists and cardiologists in collaboration with social care and families of the ill. The first staff’s trainings are scheduled for September 2017. The cost of the project is estimated for 12 million PLN, including 10 million PLN European Union grant from the Regional Operational Programme of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
