The MUG’s scientist participates in the Wound Care Congress in Manchester

Prof. Jacek Zieliński M.D. Ph.D. from the Department of Oncologic Surgery #MUG participated in the “Wound Care: From Innovations to Clinical Trials” (WCICT) congress in Manchester, the United Kingdom. The event was organized by prof. Amit Gefen from the Tel Aviv University.

Although it was the first convention devoted to wound healing, a significant number of specialists participated in the congress, including biomedical engineering, surgery, and wound healing centers representatives from various continents.

WCICT 2017 tackles a multitude of complex issues and challenges associated with innovative technologies and clinical trials in wounds through a comprehensive scientific program which will focus on various key areas including:

  • Guidelines in Wound Care
  • Novel Technologies and Interventions for Prevention and Treatment
  • Technologies for Early Diagnosis
  • Design of Clinical Trials and Clinical Data Analysis
  • Patient Outcomes and Translation to Practice
