Open Day at the MUG’s Equestrian Club

The MUG’s Equestrian Club celebrated its first anniversary. On this occasion, the University’s horse riders met on the Buffalo Bill ranch in Jantar, in the Kashubian Lake District to summarise the first year of the Club’s activity. They talked about hippotherapy and its role in the rehabilitation of patients after spinal cord injury, amputation and cardiovascular diseases, as well as played a Polo match. The Buffalo Bill ranch is the place where patients can forget about their limitations and together with people who are completely fit go horse riding. Such approach promotes more effective rehabilitation and improves their ability to come back to society.
