“Advances in heart valves reconstructions” is the topic of the conference where participants will discuss the most innovative cardiac surgeries in Europe which were performed for the first time in Poland, specifically in the Department of Cardiac Surgery and Vascular Surgery in the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk (UCC). Among the MUG’s specialists such as prof. Marcin Fijałkowski M.D. Ph. D. from the 1st Department of Cardiology and Jacek Juściński M.D. Ph.D. from the Department of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery their experience will share outstanding foreign cardiac surgeons: dr. med. Domenico Mazzitelli (Munich, Germany) and Astrid Walter (Sydney, Australia), as well as Michał Buczyński M.D. Ph.D. (Warsaw, Poland).

The Conference is scheduled for June 1st, at 9 am until 12 pm in the prof. Kieturakis lecture hall in the Invasive Medicine Centre (IMC) (Smoluchowskiego 17, 1st floor).
