Orthopedists debated in Gdańsk

The Department of Orthopaedics and Kinetic Organ Traumatology of the MUG organised 27th Scientific Symposium of the Pediatric Orthopedic of the Polish Society of Orthopedics and Kinetic Organ Traumatology which took place 18-20 May in Gdańsk. The Scientific Committee of the Symposium under the direction of prof. Tomasz Mazurek discussed such topics as treatment of fractures and injuries of the elbow joint area and treatment of the growing spine deformity. A large number of participants attended the event, including great specialists from the fields of orthopedics, rehabilitation and radiology. The very important figure of the Conference was prof. Reinhard Graff from Austria who created well known and used worldwide ultrasound classification for development of children’s hip dysplasia which revolutionised the diagnosis and treatment of both prophylactic and therapeutic pathology. The programme of the Conference consisted of numerous lectures and scientific sessions, presentations and specialised courses. Prof. Reinhard Graff gave a lecture „DDH worldwide with the eyes of sonography”.
