The MUG students won the English Language Olympiad

Iga Kościńska, the 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine won the 4th National English Language Olympiad in Medical English on May 13th in Krakow. Kamil Iwicki, the 2nd year student of the MUG, became a laureate of the competition. The role of the students in the final was to deliver a presentation on the topic of their choice. Each presentation was followed by two questions from the members of the jury and three additional ones. Iga Kościńska presented the work “Can you have running in your genes? East African endurance runners’ predispositions” and Kamil Iwicki “Synesthesia – a few words about one of the most peculiar medical phenomenon”. The supervisor of the students was Magda Warzocha from the Studium Praktycznej Nauki Języków Obcych GUMed.
