MUG project granted in HARMONIA 8 funding scheme

The Medical University of Gdańsk and the Warsaw Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion created a consortium project “Genetic characteristics of Reed-Sternberg cells and their macrophages interactions in the classic Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Identification of mechanisms of resistance to chemotherapy and relapse” which was granted in HARMONIA 8 funding scheme of the National Science Centre. From the MUG’s side the project will be managed by prof. Jan Maciej Zaucha from the Department of Oncological Propedeutics.

The project will be implemented in cooperation with the University of Nebraska Medical Center in the United States and Lacassagne Cancer Center in France.
