71th Inauguration of the academic year

On October 7th 2016, nearly 1400 students will officially begin their first year of studies at the MUG. The Inauguration ceremony will take place at 10:00 at the prof. Narkiewicz Auditorium Primum. During the ceremony Rector prof. Marcin Gruchała will deliver the inaugural speech. The lecture “Precision Medicine” will be delivered by prof. Anna Dominiczak, a MUG graduate, the daughter of prof. Joanna Muszkowska-Penson and prof. James Penson, a deputy director and head of the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences University of Glasgow.

The inauguration of the academic year will be accompanied by a new exhibition at the Museum of MUG. This year IT is entitled “Medical Electrical, or Unit. Equipment”. The aim of the exhibition is to show THE relations of modern medical technology advances, DRAW attention to the unique and sometimes obvious beauty of these devices and attempt to look at the medical school and the University from a different perspective. The exhibition is opem to public daily between 8:30 and 15:00. It will be open until the end of December 2016.
